Two Vehicle Collision In Sandys
A collision involving motorcycle and a car occurred along Malabar Road in Sandys.
A police spokesperson said, “Uniformed services including police, Bermuda Fire & Rescue Service, as well as ambulance personnel responded to a reported two-vehicle collision that occurred around 8:25pm Saturday, 13th December 2025, along Malabar Road in Sandys parish, near Woody’s Restaurant & Bar.
“It appears that a male motorcyclist travelling in the eastbound lane of Malabar Road and a car driven in the opposite direction collided, as the car driver attempted to turn in to Woody’s Drive.
“Members of the Royal Bermuda Regiment’s Coastguard initially provided treatment at the scene to the injured rider, followed by firefighters and paramedics.
“He was then transported to King Edward VII Memorial Hospital via ambulance, for further medical care.
“At last check, the young man, understood to be an 18-year-old Pembroke resident, was said to be recovering on a general ward.
“Apparently, the car driver, believed to be a 50-year-old Southampton woman, was not hurt.
“Both vehicles were damaged and traffic in the area was diverted for approximately four hours, while the collision scene was processed.
