U17 Football: Bermuda Defeat Suriname 7-0
The Bermuda U17 women’s football team made an outstanding showing to claim a 7–0 victory over Suriname.
The Concacaf match report said said, “Group B hosts Bermuda secured a 7-nil win against Suriname at Bermuda National Sports Centre in Devonshire Parish, Bermuda.
“Bermuda opened with two first-half braces to take the advantage: Evans Welch scored in the 4’ and 32’, while Milan Gibbons-Thomas in the 16’ and 28’.
“Gibbons-Thomas scored her third goal of the match with a right-footed effort from outside the box in the 63’.
“Nadia Madeiros further extended the lead from close range in the 68’, before Gibbons-Thomas secured her fourth strike in the 74’ to close out the victory.”
