The event will take place on Friday, January 16, at the BSCC Unit building located at 2 Convict Bay Lane, St. George’s, starting at 6.45pm. “Families will receive a detailed overview of the programme and its key policies, along with guidance on uniform requirements and expectations. The session will also cover volunteer standards and safeguarding principles to ensure the safety and wellbeing of all participants.

“Prospective cadets will also have the opportunity to join in with the training activities and meet current cadets, and there will be a Q&A segment, to give everyone the opportunity to ask questions and learn more about what it means to be part of the Bermuda Sea Cadets.

“Prospective cadets should attend in school uniform or neat civilian attire.”

“Joining the Sea Cadets is more than just learning skills; it’s about having fun and building confidence, teamwork and leadership in a safe and supportive environment. We look forward to welcoming new cadets and helping them chart a course for success,” said Lieutenant Commander [SCC] Michael Frith, RNR, the Commander of the Bermuda Sea Cadet Corps.
