Bowling League: Pinsplitters Defeat Drifters
The hierarchy of the Second Spring Senior Bowling League remained unchanged after this week’s round of matches at Warwick Lanes, though the points gap at the top narrowed. League leaders Blue Angels were held to a 2-2 draw by fifth-placed Last Pin, fourth-placed Islanders and sixth-placed New Comers also drew 2-2, maintaining their positions in the mid-table standings.
Third-placed Pinsplitters recorded a 4-0 victory over seventh-placed Drifters, earning maximum points. Second-placed Star Lites did not play this week due to a scheduled bye.
