Bermuda Harness Pony Racing Results
The Driving Horse and Pony Club of Bermuda held a series of races where Smart Machine and driver Candyce Martins secured victories in both 1:03/0 and Faster heats, recording times of 1:02/3 and 1:02/1. In the 1:05/4-1:07/0 Rookie division, Gold-N-Glory, driven by Teshi Zuill, swept both Heat 2 and Heat 9 with times of 1:05/3 and 1:07/2. Inwood’s Realist and driver D.J. Burchall won both 1:04/2-1:05/3 category races, finishing Heat 3 in 1:05/0 and Heat 10 in 1:04/4.
Reel Desire, driven by Liam Stones, placed first in the 1:07/1-1:08/3 Rookie heats, clocking 1:06/4 and 1:07/0. The 1:03/1-1:04/1 category saw a split in winners; Gold Rush and Philip Correia won Heat 5 in 1:03/2 , while Huntinforgold and Tahzii Flood won Heat 12 in 1:03/0. Gold Legacy and Catrina Stephens ran unopposed in the 1:07/1-1:08/3 category, finishing Heat 6 in 1:10/1 and Heat 13 in 1:09/2.
Just A Dream, driven by Marissa Stephens, won the 1:08/4-1:12/2 and Slower category races with times of 1:11/3 and 1:11/0. In the 1:03/1-1:04/1 Rookie division, Somegoldsomewhere and Teshi Zuill won Heat 7 in 1:04/1 , while Rockeyed Optimist and Maurice Raynor won Heat 14 in 1:03/3.
