Elijah Daley Sets New Personal Record
Bermudian swimmer Elijah Daley set a new personal record while competing for the University of Toronto Varsity Blues in a dual meet against McGill University.
In the Men’s 200 SC Meter Butterfly, Daley finished first with a time of 2:00.82. This performance surpassed his previous personal best of 2:03.07, a record he had established at the CCCAN Championships in June 2024.
Daley also secured a second-place finish in the 50 SC Meter Butterfly, recording a time of 24.93 seconds. In the 100 SC Meter IM, he placed second with a time of 57.02 seconds. Additionally, Daley swam the third leg for the Toronto ‘A’ team in the 200 SC Meter Freestyle Relay, contributing to a third-place finish in 1:34.34.
