Netball Bermuda To Compete At CAC 2026
Netball Bermuda will take part in the 2026 Central America and Caribbean Games [CAC] in the Dominican Republic this summer.
A spokesperson said, “Netball Bermuda is excited to announce its participation in The Central America and Caribbean Games [CAC] 2026 being held in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic from the 24th July to 8th August 2026. Netball is one of the participating disciplines and matches will be tentatively played from the 3rd to 7th August.
“Participation is determined by the World Ranking system, with the top five ranked countries in the Americas Region, along with the host country. Though Bermuda was not ranked during the original qualifying period, St. Vincent and the Grenadines have withdrawn their participation allowing
for the next ranked country, with Bermuda becoming eligible.
“Netball Bermuda currently sit 20th in the World Ranking and Top 5 in the Americas Region after a successful campaign in the Battle of Isles tournament held in St. Eustatius and St. Maarten last October.”
