Police Investigate Reported Home Invasion
The Bermuda Police Service has launched an investigation into a reported attempted home invasion at a Hamilton Parish residence.
A police spokesperson said, “The Bermuda Police Service can confirm an investigation has commenced into a reported attempted home invasion which is said to have taken place at a Hamilton Parish residence at approximately 12:30 a.m. on Thursday January 1, 2026.
“It appears one of the individuals involved may have been injured by an occupant at that residence during the attempted invasion.
“None of the residents of the targeted property appear to have been injured during the incident.
“The Bermuda Police Service is aware of the video clips depicting the incident now circulating on social media.
“We ask that should you receive the video clips in question, you do not forward them on but instead, delete them from your devices.
“The investigation and any subsequent prosecution could be severely hampered by the continued sharing of these clips
