Police: 19 Speeding Tickets Issued In One Hour

The police issued nineteen tickets for speeding ”within a period of approximately one hour” on Thursday afternoon.

Yesterday, the police  said, “As we continue our stepped up roads policing activity, officers located on Frog Lane, Devonshire, this afternoon issued nineteen tickets for speeding.

“The highest recorded speed was 74 kmh. Four tickets were issued for vehicles that were uninsured and unlicensed.

“One person was ticketed for driving while disqualified. All this within a period of approximately one hour. Several of those ticketed will soon be appearing before the courts.”

    19 tickets in an hour is lame .
    If they rode with me when I’m out on the roads they could get 19 every minute .

      They probably only caught 19 speeders because most were warned by other drivers – you know how it works…

        aye , probably true though.Strangely I hardly see as many people warning others now like I used to. Maybe , across the board , people are finally getting fed up.
