Bean-Fox And Fray Praised For Call-Ups
Footballers Harlem Bean-Fox and Kennahz Fray has been praised for their call-ups to the Bermuda Under-20 national team for the Concacaf Under-20 Championship.
Bean-Fox and Fray have recently been on trial at the under-18 side of Sky Bet Championship club Blackburn Rovers.
Both players are scholars at the Future Pro Football and Education Academy in England for players aged 16 to 19.
“We are proud to announce that FP International players Harlem and Kennahz have received a call-up to the Bermuda U20 national team!” the Future Pro Football and Education Academy wrote on social media.
“They will represent Bermuda U20 in four upcoming international fixtures against Barbados, Sint Maarten, Trinidad and Tobago, and host nation Costa Rica during the Concacaf U20 Qualifiers.
“This is a fantastic achievement, and we are incredibly proud of their continued development, hard work, and commitment.
“We wish them every success as they step onto the international stage to represent their country.”
Bermuda start their group E campaign against Trinidad and Tobago today [February 24] at the Complejo Deportivo FCRF-Plycem in San Rafael de Alajuela, Costa Rica.
The tournament features member associations ranked between seventh and 41st in the region.
Teams will compete in round-robin group play across three host countries: Costa Rica, Curaçao, and Nicaragua.
Only the six group winners will progress to the 12-team Championship, where they will join already-qualified nations including the United States, Mexico, and Panama.
