Car Crashes In Devonshire, Utility Pole Damaged
Traffic is being diverted following a car crash in Devonshire this evening [Feb 22].
A police spokesperson said, “Shortly after 9:00 p.m. on Sunday, February 22, 2026, Police were dispatched to a single vehicle road traffic collision involving a motorcar just west of the junction of South Road and Tee Street, Devonshire.
“It was reported that the vehicle collided with a utility pole and overturned onto its roof. The occupants were able to exit the vehicle.
“The collision resulted in the utility pole being brought down and the roadway is now blocked. Traffic diversions are currently in place at Tee Street and Point Finger Road.
“Motorists are advised to avoid the area of the collision and follow the instructions of officers at diversion points.”
