Raishun Burch Wins Grand Caraïbe Opener
Bermudian show jumper Raishun Burch recorded a victory on the opening day of the Grand Caraïbe International Horse Jumping Competition in Martinique, finishing first in the Grand Caribbean Grand Prix Day 1 Class.
The regional event forms part of a multi-leg Caribbean tour featuring Elite and Junior divisions and attracts riders from across the region and internationally.
Competing in a field of 17 riders, Burch partnered with Endrix D’Eliapi in the Grand Prix class. The pair completed a clear round in 43.21 seconds, the fastest time of the competition, to secure the top position.
