Somersfield Opens Scholarship Applications
Somersfield Academy has announced that applications are now open for its 2026–27 Equity & Merit Scholarships.
A spokesperson said, “Somersfield Academy is proud to offer these scholarships, which recognise and support exceptional Bermudian students who demonstrate academic excellence, leadership potential, and a commitment to positively impacting their communities. This year, we are seeking well-rounded students who embody the Academy’s vision, mission, and values: curiosity, compassion, integrity, and the drive to make a difference locally and globally.
“At Somersfield, equity means ensuring that all talented students have the opportunity to access an exceptional education, regardless of financial circumstances. Merit means recognising those who demonstrate academic excellence, character, and a commitment to growth and service. Together, the Equity & Merit Scholarship empowers students to thrive in a nurturing, values-driven environment while contributing meaningfully to the school community and beyond.
“Recipients of the scholarship will receive full or partial tuition coverage, along with access to enrichment programmes, mentorship, and leadership opportunities within Somersfield’s vibrant learning community.
“Applicants must submit a student-authored essay demonstrating their passion for learning, engagement in community service or extracurricular activities, and alignment with Somersfield’s values. Shortlisted candidates may be invited for an interview as part of the selection process.
