Traffic Notice: Single Lane Closure In Smith’s
The Ministry of Public Works and Environment advises the motoring public that “a single lane closure will be in effect on the eastbound lane of Middle Road, Smith’s Parish, in the vicinity of 1 Middle Road, to facilitate fibre upgrade works by Link Bermuda.”
A Government spokesperson said, “The works will take place from Thursday, 19 February 2026, through to Friday, 20 February 2026. Working hours will be from 9:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. and from 6:30 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. on the specified dates.
“Traffic control will be managed by Triangle Solutions representatives using signage, cones and stop/go boards. Motorists are advised to exercise caution when travelling through the area and to consider alternative routes via Vesey Street/Loyal Hill Pass and Hermitage Road.
“Enquiries regarding these works may be directed to Mr Chris MacDonald of Triangle Solutions Limited at 505-2044.
“The Ministry thanks the motoring public for its cooperation and apologises for any inconvenience that may result.”
