Bermuda Juniors Shine In Boston Event
Bermuda’s junior volleyball teams continued competition on day two of the Nike Boston National Qualifiers at the Boston Convention and Exhibition Centre.
The Paradise Hitters 13 girls’ team extended their unbeaten streak to four matches, opening with a 2–0 victory over Lockdown VBC 13 Robins. They followed that performance with another win, defeating GG 13 One 25–23, 25–19.
The Paradise Hitters 15 girls also enjoyed a strong day. They defeated Lockdown VBC 15 Ravens in a three-set thriller before beating Northeast 15 Black in straight sets. They capped off the day with a 2–0 victory over MGA 15 Stars.
In the boys’ divisions, Big Wave Riders 15 fell in straight sets to NYC VBA 15 Nomad and Boys CJVA 15 Black, before suffering a narrow 2–1 defeat to 15 1 Boys.
The Big Wave Riders 16 team lost their opening two matches against NE Storm 16 Monsoon and Boys CJVA 16 Onyx. However, they finished the day on a positive note with a 2–0 win over Boston United Boys 16 Select One.
