BSA Announces Leadership & Support Groups
The Bermuda Stroke Association [BSA] has welcomed Nicole Chichon-De Silva and Keith De Silva as new Co-Chairs and announced “upcoming support groups at Bermuda College’s Blue Room in partnership with Dr Sam Scott-O’Bannon of Mindset Bermuda.”
A spokesperson said, “The Bermuda Stroke Association [BSA] is entering a new era as it welcomes Co-Chairs Nicole Chichon-De Silva and Keith De Silva, both passionate advocates for stroke survivors and caregivers. Nicole, herself a stroke survivor, and Keith, her devoted husband and caregiver, are dedicated to expanding support, education, and resources for the island’s community.
“BSA and their dedicated team are excited to announce upcoming support groups at Bermuda College’s Blue Room in partnership with Dr Sam Scott-O’Bannon of Mindset Bermuda. These sessions are designed to provide a safe space for both survivors and caregivers.
March 21:
- 10:00–11:00 am – Survivor Support Group
- 11:00 am–12:00 pm – Caregiver Support Group
March 28:
- 10:00–11:00 am – Survivor Support Group
- 11:00 am–12:00 pm – Caregiver Support Group
“Please note that the walk from the Bermuda College carpark to the Blue Room is a short distance. Anyone who uses a wheelchair or mobility aid is strongly encouraged to bring it and use it for easier access to the venue.
“BSA continues to honour its founding vision, inspired by Mark Selley, while looking forward with new leadership and expanded programming. All survivors and caregivers are welcome.
