Some of Bermuda’s leading riders returned to competition for the second round of the 2026 FEI Jumping World Challenge at the National Equestrian Centre on Vesey Street.

The event followed a standardized international format, with riders combining times and penalty faults over two rounds in pursuit of qualification for the global finals. Courses across all three categories tested accuracy and control over a series of technical jumping lines.

In Category A [1.20m–1.30m], JayLynn Hines secured victory riding Toto D’ysenbeeck Z. The pair recorded eight penalty faults and posted the fastest time of 66.03 seconds. Abby Bardgett finished second aboard Causing Chaos with 29 penalty faults in 67.69 seconds. Michael Rodrigues, riding Acoceto, was eliminated.

Philip Correia won Category B [1.10m–1.20m] on Poker Face. He completed the course with 10 penalty faults in a time of 73.72 seconds, following his win in the opening round of the series.

In Category C [1.00m–1.10m], Vicki Steele and Rambo delivered the only double clear performance of the division, finishing in 68.90 seconds to take first place. Logan Flood placed second riding Dorus Du Domain Z with four penalty faults in 66.80 seconds, while Lily Butler and Farsi Forza were third with 16 faults in 62.55 seconds. Vee McKey on Harrison and Simone Sainsbury on Delta’s Roulete completed the top five.

The Bermuda Equestrian Federation also hosted a Support Show alongside the competition.
