Bermuda Netball League Continues

The Bermuda netball league continued with matches across all divisions, including Premier, First and youth age groups.

In the Premier Division, Storm Surge defeated Phoenix Heat 33–25. Jasmyn Renfroe scored 20 goals for Storm Surge, with Selah Tuzo adding the remainder. K’xiyae Gibbons led the defensive effort for Phoenix Heat, while Ebonie Cox was named MVP for her performance in the circle.

Tigers recorded a 51–12 win over St. George’s in another Premier Division match. Jahkenya Trott scored 21 goals, with Jahtuere Trott and Candance Paynter also contributing to the total. Khianda Pearman-Watson was named MVP for the Tigers.

In the First Division, Storm Nexgen defeated Hamilton Parish 38–14. J’Zari Zuill-Dillas and Jamir Hatherley combined for 28 goals in the win. Phoenix Flames beat DC Diamonds 33–15, with Caillia Joell scoring 14 goals.

In the 16-and-under division, Storm defeated Phoenix Fire 24–21, with Joell scoring 14 goals for Phoenix Fire. North Village Lady Rams beat Dandy Stars 28–12, led by S’mai Tyrrell and E’rynn Paynter.

In the 13-and-under division, Storm Lightning defeated North Village Lady Rams 20–7. Phoenix Embers recorded a 17–1 win over Storm Thunder, with Quin Burgess scoring consistently in attack.

In the 10-and-under division, A’meenah Simmons was named MVP in Phoenix Sparks’ match against NVCC. Kanji Armstrong earned MVP honours for Storm in their game against Dandy Stars.
