Woman Injured In Devonshire Collision
A two-vehicle collision on South Road in Devonshire late Tuesday night [March 10] left a 53-year-old woman with minor injuries.
A police spokesperson said, “Shortly after 11:55pm Tuesday, 10th March 2026, a reported two-vehicle collision occurred along South Road in Devonshire, near the junction with Devon Heights Road.
“It appears that a car driven in the westbound lane of South Road collided with a van driven in the opposite direction on South Road, in the vicinity of Devonshire Bay.
“The car driver, said to be a 53-year-old Smith’s parish woman, is understood to have sustained minor injuries while the van driver, said to be a 68-year-old St. George’s man, was not hurt.
“Apparently, both vehicles were extensively damaged.
“Traffic diversions were in effect for approximately an hour and a half, while the collision scene was processed.
“Any additional witnesses are encouraged to call 211.”
