Amber’s Wings To Host Charity Golf Event
A charity golf tournament will be held next month to raise funds for Amber’s Wings, an organisation that assists the island’s under-resourced youth through the transformative power of animals.
The Annual Golf Tournament: The Year of the Horse will take place at Port Royal Golf Course on April 10, with a 1pm shotgun start.
Registration will begin at 12.30pm, and teams can enter at a cost of $800.
Amber’s Wings was launched in 2024 by Heidi Michelsen, who lost her 16-year-old daughter, Amber Bridges, in a road crash in Southampton five years ago.
Amber was an accomplished equestrian who competed in dressage, hunters and show jumping.
A presentation will follow the tournament at Bella Vista, including dinner, a cash bar and a 50/50 raffle.
