Wilton Re Donates Over $50K To Charities
Wilton Reinsurance Bermuda Limited continued its employee-directed philanthropic program in 2025, directing over $50,000 in donations to Bermuda-based charities while staff also volunteered time to local initiatives.
A spokesperson said, “Wilton Reinsurance Bermuda Limited continues to demonstrate strong commitment to the local community through its employee-directed philanthropic program, which empowers staff to allocate donations to the causes most meaningful to them. In 2025, employees directed over $50,000 in donations to Bermuda-based charities. Throughout the year, Wilton Re employees also volunteer their time and talents to initiatives and projects across the island, reinforcing the Company’s mandate for active corporate citizenship in Bermuda.”
Sylvia Oliveira, Chief Executive Officer, said, “Bermuda’s third‑sector plays a vital role in our community, filling gaps that may otherwise remain unmet. Corporate support is vital to ensuring these organizations can continue their work, and I’m grateful that our employees champion the causes that matter most to them and to our island.”
