2026 Middle School Track And Field Results
The National Sports Centre hosted the 2026 Middle School Track and Field Championships, where Saltus Grammar School secured the overall title with a dominant performance across multiple events.
Saltus finished with a combined 591.50 points, outpacing the field to establish itself as the leading middle school program in the competition. The school also claimed the Female Team Division with 314 points, while Whitney Institute Middle School won the Male Team Division with 308 points.
Two records were broken during the meet. In the Under-13 Girls 1500 metres, Warwick Academy’s Colette Durkin set a new mark of 5:09.67, narrowly ahead of Somersfield Academy’s Evelyn Fahy, who also finished under the previous record in 5:09.93.
Saltus also set a new relay record in the Over-13 Girls 4×100 metres, as Leydi Raynor, Zahra Goodchild, Amaya Davis and Jasmine Reid-Rubaine combined for a time of 51.97 seconds.
In the individual standings, Saltus Grammar School’s Jasmine Reid-Rubaine and Mount Saint Agnes Academy’s Xander Romeo each topped the Over-13 categories with 30 points. In the Under-12 divisions, Kierra Broadley-Samuels of Saltus Grammar School and Jordyn Lewis of Bermuda High School shared the girls’ honours, while Shanzae Smith of Sandy’s Secondary Middle School led the boys’ competition.
Whitney Institute Middle School and Warwick Academy completed the top three in the overall standings, rounding out a meet highlighted by record-breaking performances and strong team showings across Bermuda’s middle school athletics programs.
