Carrick Competes In Qualifier Against Top Seed
Bermudian squash player Taylor Carrick was defeated by top seed Shahjahan Khan in the opening round of the Men’s World Squash Championship Qualifying Event in St. Louis.
Competing at the Missouri Athletic Club, Carrick was drawn against the top-ranked American.
Khan secured a straight-sets victory, winning 11-4, 11-5, 11-5 in a match that lasted 25 minutes.
Carrick contested several extended rallies during the match, but Khan maintained control throughout to advance to the next round.
