Archers Finish Fourth In San Salvador
Bermuda’s men’s recurve team earned an impressive mid-table at the San Salvador Grand Prix of the Americas.
Camerin Pickering, Jaydon Roberts and Bernard Wade III competed against ten teams from across the region.
Pickering was the top Bermudian in the individual standings, finishing twelfth with a score of 642. Roberts placed 21st with 617, while Wade was 29th with 568.
Their combined scores seeded Bermuda for the team event. They beat Panama 6-0 in the opening elimination round before losing 6-2 to Colombia.
The top six teams then contested three qualifying spots for the Central American and Caribbean Games.
Bermuda reached the bronze medal match but finished fourth, with Puerto Rico taking third place.
