Mewett & Shepherd Win Carifta Swim Medals
Teagan Mewett and Rory Shepherd have won medals for Bermuda at the Carifta Swimming Championships in Martinique yesterday [April 4].
Mewett claimed the island’s first swimming medal at the annual regional competition, winning bronze in the female 15 to 17 200 metres breaststroke final in 2min 45.80.
Meanwhile, Shepherd claimed silver in the male 13 to 15 50 backstroke final in 29.19.
Dominic Wright came sixth in 29.54.
