A spokesperson said, “The College’s Summer 2026 schedule [Bermuda College 2026 Summer Course Schedule] includes academic courses, professional development and short skills-based training for learners at different stages of life, from younger students to working adults and those returning to education.
“Academic subjects in the summer schedule include computer studies, economics, English communication, hotel management, management, mathematics, nursing, psychology, diagnostic imaging, and cookery and nutrition.
“The College’s Athora Division of Professional & Career Education [APACE] also offers flexible career-focused training in areas linked to today’s workplace, including business, leadership, technology, data, marketing and professional communication.
“Examples include courses and certificates in data analysis, Excel, Power BI, SQL, cybersecurity, artificial intelligence, digital marketing, bookkeeping, QuickBooks, entrepreneurship, accounting and finance for non-financial managers and a new PIPA course.
“These courses are intended to help learners gain practical, job-ready skills that can improve employability, support a return to work, strengthen performance in an existing role, or open the door to advancement.”
College President Dr David Sam said, “It is worth emphasising, again, that the College has more than 40 articulation agreements with universities in the UK, US and Canada.
“Students can start their academic journeys with us and go onto establishments overseas at a very cost-effective rate.”
Tawana Flood, Head of APACE, said, “Summer can be the right time for a fresh start, whether someone wants to sharpen existing skills, prepare for a promotion, move into a different field or return to learning with a clear goal.”
Mrs Flood added, “We want people to see Bermuda College as a place where opportunity is practical and accessible. Our summer offering gives learners real options to build confidence, gain relevant skills and take the next step.”
The spokesperson said, “The schedule is intended to meet a wide range of needs. That includes current college and university students preparing for the next stage, mid-career professionals looking to stay competitive, and older learners investing in lifelong learning or a change of direction.
