Chamber Choir’s Spring Concert On May 29-30
The Bermuda Chamber Choir and Chamber Orchestra of the Bermuda School of Music with the BSM Youth Choir present a widely varied programme ranging from “Ode To Joy” from Beethoven’s Choral Symphony to popular excerpts from Musical Theatre.
A spokesperson said, “Also featured will be Lisa Maule performing the sublime Adagio and sparkling Rondo from Clarinet Concerto in A major by W.A. Mozart.
“Reviews of Past Performances have heaped praise on the Choirs and Musicians who “came together with tight teamwork, superb dynamics and nuanced emotion to do justice to the music’s impact on the audience”, and they have congratulated Marjorie Pettit “for bringing music of the highest quality to our island. The amount of work on the part of director, soloists, choirs and musicians to bring to us this complex, magnificent work.”
