Chamber AGM Luncheon Scheduled For April 23
The Bermuda Chamber of Commerce will host its 2026 Annual General Meeting [AGM] & Luncheon, sponsored by KPMG in Bermuda, on Thursday, 23 April 2026 from 12:00 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. at the Hamilton Princess & Beach Club.
A spokesperson said, “Bringing together business leaders, policymakers, and industry professionals, this year’s AGM will centre on the theme: “Global Shifts, Local Impact: Workforce Considerations in a Changing World.”
“The event will explore how evolving geopolitical dynamics are reshaping Bermuda’s economic environmentimpacting trade, supply chains, workforce availability, regulatory frameworks, and the overall cost of doing business.
“As part of the programme, attendees will hear from Stefano Moritsch, Global Geopolitics Lead at KPMG International, who will deliver a keynote presentation providing global insights and context for local decisionmaking.
“The AGM will also feature a high-level Geopolitics Panel & Q&A, bringing together key voices from government, economics, and the business community, including:
- Hon. Jason Hayward, JP, MP, Minister of Economy & Labour
- Dr. Douglas DeCouto, JP, MP, OBA Shadow Minister of Finance
- Stefano Moritsch, Global Geopolitics Lead at KPMG International
- Craig Simmons, Economist & Former Senior Economics Lecturer
- Colin Anderson, Director of Policy & Regulation, ABIR
- Marico Thomas, President, Bermuda Chamber of Commerce
“This discussion will provide a balanced and candid exchange of perspectives on how global developments are translating into real implications for Bermuda’s workforce and business landscape.
“The Annual General Meeting component will include a formal review of the Chamber’s activities, progress, and strategic priorities, reinforcing its mandate as “The Voice of Business in Bermuda.”
