Man Injured, Suspect Arrested After Altercation

Police are investigating an altercation that left one man injured and another in custody.

A police spokesperson said, “Shortly after 10:00 a.m., on Friday, April 3, 2026, police were dispatched to a reported dispute involving two males in the area of Cove Valley Drive, St. George’s.

“Once the officers arrived at the scene, it was ascertained that one of the males was injured during the altercation.

“The suspect in this matter was located at a nearby residence, and subsequently arrested. He remains in custody at the Hamilton Police.

“The victim was transported by ambulance to King Edward VII Memorial Hospital, for treatment of his injuries, which were described as non-life-threatening.
