Saundre Simmons Set For Boxing Fight In US
Bermudian boxer Saundre “Dash” Simmons will put his unbeaten professional record on the line at Asheville Fight Night in North Carolina on June 6.
The light heavyweight, who has a 9-0 record, is scheduled to fight at the Crowne Plaza Hotels & Resorts in Asheville.
Simmons, 28, was born in Massachusetts and raised in Somerset, Bermuda, but spent part of his youth in Asheville.
He now trains at Bone Breaker Gym in nearby Morganton.
He turned professional in 2023 after an impressive amateur career and has won all nine of his fights by knockout.
In his previous bout in October, Simmons stopped Mexico’s Francisco Rios in the third round in Mexicali.
His opponent for the June event has yet to be confirmed.
