Smith Competes Georgia Tech Invitational
Bermudian middle-distance runner Sancho Smith continued his collegiate season for Clayton State University this weekend, competing in a strong field at the Georgia Tech Invitational in Atlanta.
Smith ran in the men’s 800 metres, where he was placed in the fourth of 12 heats amid a large group of elite competitors. He finished sixth in his heat in a tactical, fast-paced race.
He recorded a time of 1:54.14, placing 41st overall in a field of more than 100 athletes.
