Smith And Robinson Win Triathlon Titles
The Bermuda National Triathlon Championships concluded at Clearwater Beach with Tyler Smith and Kristen Robinson winning the men’s and women’s titles.
Athletes competed over the Olympic distance, consisting of a 1.5km swim, 40km bike and 10km run.
Tyler Smith won the men’s race in 1:51:45 after recording splits of 17:17 in the swim, 59:30 on the bike and 34:20 in the run.
Jackson Langley finished second in 2:01:15, while Michael Evans placed third in 2:11:46.
Kristen Robinson claimed the women’s title in 2:31:16 with splits of 25:55 for the swim, 1:16:57 for the bike and 46:21 for the run.
Nicole Mitchell finished second in 2:42:47 and recorded the fastest bike split in the women’s field, while Georgia Evans placed third in 2:46:36.
Tri-ing Our Best won the team category with a combined time of 2:04:13.
The King is coming – look busy finished second in 2:14:46, and A-Team placed third in 2:19:27 with the fastest team run of the day.
