Somersfield Academy will hold its annual golf fundraiser on April 24 at Port Royal Golf Course.

A spokesperson said, “Somersfield Academy is pleased to announce its annual golf fundraiser, taking place on April 24 at Port Royal Golf Course. This year’s event will bring together a strong group of community partners in support of one shared goal: funding bursaries that provide financial assistance to students who would otherwise be unable to attend the school.

“Somersfield is proud to recognise its title sponsors – Butterfield Group, HSBC Bermuda, Arch Capital Investments, and Carey Olsen – whose support anchor the event and significantly contribute to the success of the bursary programme at Somersfield.”

Jody Feldman, Managing Director of Butterfield in Bermuda, said, “Quality, accessible education is a hugely important factor in Bermuda’s continued success. It’s why we invest so much in our own scholarship programme and continue to support school fundraising events such as this. We are happy to return as a lead sponsor and look forward to a day of competitive golf, charitable giving and community impact.”

HSBC Bermuda’s CEO Greg Garnier said, “HSBC is proud to stand again this year with Somersfield Academy in helping expand access through its bursary programme to deserving students.
