Tyler James Earns Top Finishes In Aiken
Tyler James has just completed a week of competition at the Aiken Spring Classic Masters at the Highfields Event Center, Aiken, South Carolina from April 15th – 19th.
A spokesperson said, “Tyler had an extremely successful week which culminated in a double clear and 5th place finish in his first Welcome Stakes class on Vino Blanco. This qualified him and Vino Blanco for the 1.35-1.40 meter Grand Prix where they placed 10th. Competing in his first Welcome Stakes and first Grand Prix at this level against a competitive field of riders marks a milestone for Tyler And Vino Blanco.
“Tyler also continued to produce strong results on Cruise Control, consistently scoring in the high 80s in both the equitation and hunter divisions. Tyler and Cruise Control earned a 2nd place finish in the Jump Seat Medal class and 7th place finish in the 3.6 foot Performance Hunter class with consistent performances throughout the week.
“Tyler also competed his young horse, Zero to Sixty, placing 1st in the 0.95 meter jumper division and 4th in the 1.0 meter jumper division.”
