Berkeley Donates $4,000 To Gina Spence Charity
The Berkeley Institute generously donated $4,000 to the Gina Spence Program to support their community outreach programs and grief and loss services for seniors, children, and families.
Gina Spence-Virgil said, “We are deeply grateful not only for this generous gift, but for the wholehearted support shown by the leadership, students, and the entire Berkeley school body. It is inspiring to witness young people learning not only the value of education, but also the importance of community, compassion, and giving back.
“From the bottom of our hearts, we thank The Berkeley Institute. Because of their generosity, lives will be touched, changed, and transformed.”

The funds were raised earlier this year through The Berkeley Institute’s annual Christmas Walk pledge sheets, showcasing the school’s deep commitment to service, community outreach, and giving back.
