First Harbour Nights Event To Feature Fireworks
The first Harbour Nights of the year will be held tomorrow night [May 13] with local vendors, artisans, food stalls, entertainers, and a special fireworks display to mark the opening night.
A spokesperson said, “The Bermuda Chamber of Commerce is pleased to announce that Harbour Nights 2026 returns to Front Street tomorrow, officially launching from 7:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. and this year, the season opens with a spectacular fireworks display.
“Running every Wednesday evening from 13 May through 16 September 2026, Harbour Nights will once again transform Hamilton’s Front Street into a vibrant hub of Bermudian culture, local commerce, live entertainment, food, and community spirit. The 2026 season features local vendors, artisans, food stalls, entertainers, and cultural performers – and every dollar spent on Front Street goes directly back into the hands of Bermuda’s local business community.
“To mark the opening night of the season, fireworks will light up the Hamilton Harbour skies, scheduled to close out the evening at approximately 9:30 p.m. Residents and visitors are encouraged to arrive early, bring the family, and secure a prime spot along the waterfront for what promises to be a memorable opening night on Front Street.
“Recognised as Bermuda’s signature open-air street festival, Harbour Nights attracts thousands of attendees, both visitors and locals, each week and provides a high-visibility platform for local businesses, makers, performers, and community groups.”
Jennifer Woods, Chief Executive Officer of the Bermuda Chamber of Commerce, said, “Harbour Nights is more than a street festival – it is one of the most direct ways residents can support local businesses, invest in their community, and enjoy everything Front Street has to offer. Every Wednesday night, our vendors, artisans, and performers show up ready to deliver something worth experiencing. We are asking Bermuda to show up for them. The spokesperson said, “This year’s season, which is sponsored by Bermuda Tourism Authority and the Corporation of Hamilton, forms part of the Chamber’s continued commitment to driving economic activity and member engagement through high-impact events. Harbour Nights is not only a celebration – it is a platform for local enterprise, and its success depends on the active participation of the Bermuda community.

A Note for Pet Owners Near White’s Island and Hamilton Harbour
“A heads-up for pet owners in the White’s Island and Hamilton Harbour area – fireworks will be lighting up the harbour sky from approximately 9:30 p.m. on opening night. If your pet is sensitive to loud noises, please plan ahead, bring them indoors, and help them settle before the display begins. We appreciate your understanding and look forward to seeing you on Front Street!
