Male Injured In Shooting In Prospect
A male was injured in a shooting last night in Prospect, the police have confirmed.
A police spokesperson said, “Shortly after 10:30 p.m. on Wednesday, May 27, 2026, police received reports of gunshots at Cedar Park, Prospect.
“Officers and Emergency Medical Services were immediately dispatched to that location
“Initial investigations confirmed a firearm had been discharged outside a nearby residence and one person shot.
“The victim, a male was transported to King Edward VII Memorial Hospital via ambulance for treatment of his injuries.
“The extent of those injuries are not known at this time.
