Aeziah Divine Thanks Bermuda Supporters
Bermudian motorcycle racer Aeziah Divine received support from several islanders during the recent round two of the R&G Moto4 British Cup at Donington Park in Leicestershire.
Divine crashed during the second practice session at Craner Curves, damaging his bike and forcing him to miss qualifying and the opening race.
After his team rebuilt the bike, Divine returned for the second race and started 21st on the grid before finishing fifteenth.
“I want to send a huge shout out to my Bermudian supporters who joined us over the weekend for round two at Donington,” Divine wrote on social media.
“It meant a lot having you all there for the experience.
“Special thanks to Jevaughn ‘Squirrely’ Simons for flying in just to spend the weekend with us for a special racing trip, LaVince Ellis for his consistent trackside motivation and flying the flag from his base at Starkey’s for the Derby rounds, and Justin Denbrook from Triangle Swizzle UK – my newest sponsor and supporter who came out on Sunday to check out the racing and learn about the championship.
“It’s really nice having so much support from the island.”
Round three will be held at Snetterton Circuit in Norfolk from July 3 to 5.
