Taylor Carrick Edged Out In Opening Round
Bermudian squash player Taylor Carrick was beaten in the opening round of the $6,000 EMCS Tortola Classic 2026 after a five-game match against American Tad Carney in the British Virgin Islands.
Carrick lost 11-6, 6-11, 4-11, 11-3, 11-6 in a contest lasting 63 minutes at the Tortola Sports Club.
After losing the opening game, Carrick recovered to win the second and third to move within one game of victory.
Carney responded by taking the fourth game to force a decider before securing the final game 11-6.
