The German tall ship ’Gorch Fock’ is currently berthed on Front Street in Hamilton.

According to Sail Training International, the Gorch Fock was built in 1958 and is used as a training ship for the German Navy. Named after German writer Johann Kinau, who used the pen name Gorch Fock, the ship has completed numerous voyages around the world during its service.
