Hamilton & Sousa Compete In NORCECA Tour
The 2026 NORCECA Beach Volleyball Tour saw a challenging opening day for Bermuda’s Kyle Hamilton and Brandon Sousa, who suffered consecutive defeats in Pool B play at the Flor Blanca Sports Complex in San Salvador, El Salvador.
The three-day tournament, running from May 29 to May 31, features the fifth stop of the continental tour.
Hamilton and Sousa opened their tournament schedule against Costa Rica’s Melvin Brown and Sebastián Valenciano. The Costa Rican duo controlled the tempo early, defeating the Bermudians in straight sets by scores of 21-11 and 21-8.
In their second match of the opening day, the Bermudian pair faced Canada’s Rouzbeh Rahnavard and Robert Kemp. Hamilton and Sousa mounted a competitive effort in the first set before falling 21-17. The Canadian duo then secured the match victory by taking the second set 21-8.
