Temple Of Tennis Semi Finals Take Place

The Temple of Tennis Open Tournament continued at the Port Royal Golf Course Tennis Courts this week, featuring a day of competition that included a tie-break finish, a straight-sets semi-final result, and a match ending due to injury retirement.

Zach McGuire advanced to the final after defeating Evan Heyliger in straight sets. McGuire won the first set 6-4 and took the second set 6-1.

Lee Terceira defeated Caitlin Conyers in three sets. Conyers won the first set 6-4, Terceira took the second set 6-4, and Terceira won the championship tie-break 10-4.

David Thomas won the first set against Hugh Seymour 6-4. Seymour won the second set 7-6. Thomas then retired from the match, allowing Seymour to advance.

The tournament continues with the Men’s A final, where McGuire is set to compete for the title at the Port Royal courts.
