Project Action Pays Tribute To Ceola Wilson
Project Action paid tribute to the late Ceola Wilson during this year’s Bermuda Day Parade, with the charity noting that “she is sorely missed by staff, volunteers, and the community we serve.”
A spokesperson said, “Project Action Charity #561 has provided free transportation for seniors and people with physical challenges since 1999. Co-founded by Cindy Swan and the late Judith Swan with early support from the late Sir John Plowman, the charity has given thousands of rides over 25 years and become a vital resource for patients requiring dialysis.
“This year we pay special homage to the late Ceola Wilson, whose volunteer work advising our public relations and persistent encouragement inspired Cindy and helped us expand our outreach. Ceola’s voice kept our wheels turning — she is sorely missed by staff, volunteers, and the community we serve. She is deeply missed.”
