Shooting In Southampton, No Reported Injuries
The police confirmed there was a shooting in Southampton this evening [May 24] and said that “at this time, there have been no reported injuries.”
A police spokesperson said, “Around 10:15pm on Sunday, 24 May 2026, police were dispatched to reports of several gunshots in the area of Rangers Sports Club on South Road in Southampton.
“Officers arrived at the scene shortly afterwards and discovered forensic evidence suggesting that a firearm had been discharged. At this time, there have been no reported injuries.
“There were a number of people attending an event at Rangers at the time of the incident. Police are urging anyone who may have information relating to this matter to contact 211 at the earliest opportunity.”
