Videos: ARC Sailboat Fleet Leaves Bermuda

A fleet of sailboats taking part in the ARC Europe Rally recently departed St. George’s, with the vessels heading out to sea as they continue their transatlantic journey to Europe.

Over 30 international vessels set sail from the historic town after spending several days in Bermuda, after sailing to the island from Sint Maarten in the Caribbean. The yachts navigated through the Town Cut to begin the first major leg of the more than 3000 nautical-mile journey, which routes the participants to the Azores before the final conclusion in Lagos, Portugal.

The video shows the sailboats leaving St. George’s, with both 4K footage and a time-lapse view capturing the fleet as it made its way out of Bermuda.
