Smith Finishes 5th At PBC Track Championships
Sancho Smith secured a top-five finish in the men’s 800-meter run at the 2026 Peach Belt Conference [PBC] Outdoor Track & Field Championships which was held at the ERAU Track Complex in Florida.
Smith, representing Clayton State University, recorded a time of 1:52.11 to finish fifth in the final. The performance earned points for the Clayton State Lakers in the team standings and marked a season-best time for Bermudian athlete
The middle-distance runner has transitioned to the outdoor season following a successful indoor campaign where he set a Clayton State school record in the 600-meter event.
