Video: Privateers Defeat Bermuda Rugby Team
The Atlantic Privateers defeated the Bermuda national rugby team 69-12 at the National Sports Centre this weekend.
The Atlantic Privateers opened the match with 22 unanswered points. Bermuda scored its first points when Jamie Baum intercepted a pass inside his own half, kicked the ball past the defense, and recovered it to score a try. A subsequent conversion brought Bermuda within 15 points.
The Privateers responded with 21 consecutive points. Before halftime, Bermuda’s Miles Dismont Robinson scored a try, however the conversion attempt failed, leaving the score 41-12 at intermission.
The Privateers scored 28 unanswered points in the second half to conclude the match.
