Arnold And Mello-Hill Compete In Kansas Event
Bermuda cyclists Gabriella Arnold and Philippa Mello-Hill both completed events at the 2026 Life Time UNBOUND Gravel in Emporia, Kansas, taking on one of the most demanding cycling events in the sport.
Arnold competed in the prestigious Elite Women’s 200-mile race, finishing the full course in 12:36:10.
She covered the listed distance of 206.9 miles, with the official results showing a chip time of 12:36:04 and an average pace of 16.42 miles per hour. Arnold placed 43rd overall and 43rd among female competitors, while also finishing 17th in the Elite Women’s division, which featured 28 riders.
Mello-Hill completed the 100-mile event, crossing the finish line in 9:34:07.
The results show her placing 907th overall, 159th among female competitors, and 27th in the F40-49 division, with an average speed of 11.10 miles per hour.
The UNBOUND Gravel event is known for its punishing off-road routes through the Flint Hills, with riders facing long distances, rough terrain and changing conditions.
