‘Policing Paradise’ Season Two Starts Airing
A new season of the ‘Policing Paradise’ television series has started airing this week on the BBC in the UK.
In advance of the filming of the second series, Alex McLeod, Commissioning Editor for BBC Daytime, said: “I am so excited we are back in Bermuda for series two of Policing Paradise. This is a truly unique place and we feel privileged to be able to have got such wonderful access so our viewers can experience what it is like to police a paradise island in peak tourist season.”
According to the online episode guide, the season’s episodes cover incidents and matters including an island-wide search for a vulnerable elderly man, a major cruise ship drug bust, the discovery of suspected cannabis plants at a residential property, an aggressive detainee in custody, the interception of a packagem an island-wide evidence search following a double fatal shooting, an operation targeting antisocial behaviour that uncovers drugs in a park, the arrest of a tourist after a suspicious package is discovered at the cruise ship terminal, a hunt through narrow backstreets for a runaway rider, and the challenges of policing during Carnival preparations.
