Portuguese Tall Ship To Visit Bermuda
The Portuguese tall ship NRP Sagres is scheduled to arrive in Bermuda this Wednesday [June 10], with the arrival taking place on Portugal Day.
Honorary Consul of Portugal in Bermuda Andrea Moniz-DeSouza “The Honorary Consulate of Portugal in Bermuda is delighted to welcome the Portuguese Navy’s iconic training ship, NRP Sagres, to Bermuda from 10 – 14 June. The vessel will arrive in Hamilton Harbour on 10 June and dock at Hamilton Dock 5/6 at approximately 7:00 p.m.
“The NRP Sagres is one of Portugal’s most recognized national symbols and serves as a training vessel for Portuguese Naval cadets. This visit offers a unique opportunity for Bermuda residents and visitors to step aboard and experience a piece of Portugal’s proud maritime heritage.”
